Just realised my PhD case study is completely useless and I’m going to have to make some major changes. Not sure how this is going to work out, or really what I’m even doing anymore…

Also, realised that the article I am working on (which is written specifically geared towards the upcoming September elections) needs to get finished ASAP or it will become out-dated, irrelevant and be completely unpublishable.

Here’s hoping my supervisor can give me some much needed insight and direction tomorrow!

My new Warby Parker specs turned up today. So happy!! (and a big thank you to the awesome person who sent these to me!)

I’ve been in love with this brand for about a year now. Not only do they make classic, vintage-inspired glasses (both reading and sunwear) but the brand is rather charitable too. For every pair purchased they give a pair of glasses to someone in need!

Happy Mother’s Day!

My mum is simply the best. She is probably the one person I clash with the most out of my entire family (from a young age I’ve found it impossible to resist pushing her buttons :P) but at the same time she is the one person that can make me feel a million times better on my worst days.

She is super generous, fiercely loyal and the most forgiving person I know. I am so blessed to be able to call her my mum!! xoxo

I’ve been thinking about my favourite pastime of late: travelling (surprise, surprise :P).

Yesterday I stumbled across a potentially awesome opportunity and spent the entire day thinking about a trip to London this December. I love winter so the cold isn’t actually a negative as it is with most people. Plus, a relative moved to London a little while ago so she could be my go-to friend/travel guide to help me navigate the city… I’m thinking it’s time to get another job to save and make this happen, maybe?

Haven’t had a raspberry jam filled doughnut since I was in Melbourne two years ago. I forgot how much I love them. They are so messy but so delicious.

This one was from Jones the Grocer and is filled on demand with either chocolate ganache, caramel or raspberry (though, why you would get anything other than raspberry I do not know).

Anyone who knows me knows that I will ALWAYS choose dessert over savoury stuff any day, but I love jam doughnuts so much that if I had to pick only one food to eat for the rest of my life this would probably be it.

Didn’t think I could love Kate Spade more than I already did but the new collaboration with Keds is beyond wonderful…stylish and comfy!!

I only wish I had bought one of each other style/colour before they sold out!
